Highly Rare 16th Century Medieval Executioner’s Axe
This rare executioner’s beheading axe shows its hallmark by whomever forged it hundreds of years back.
This executioner beheading axe is found in museums, history book publications which states it was used as fack back as the
400’s to 1500’s for public executions.
While in London I seen an identical executioner axe in the Tower of London museum proudly displayed. The size, shade
including positioning of the makers mark are in the same almost identical positions.
There are posters and paintings that sell as high as $1,200 USD from copies of the original historical museum paintings.
Being a massive two-handed headsman axe dates back over 450 years. the forger marks are clearly visible as shown in my
high resolutions photos.
The hardwood shaft handle is not guarenteed origina due to its age, but rest assure this executioner axe is 100% authentic
and highly scare. These wrongly described axes are identified by fact of the blade angles coming from the blades socket
being used by right or left handed executioner’s back in the day.
This are axe was designed, forged, and used for only one purpose ‘Public Execution”.
A peice of history which is high scarce for sale would have many stories in any historical collection.
This executioner axe is for sale only in our photo’s and is prohibited from being purchased outside the United States.
